The main ingredients in investment planning—whether for college, retirement or discretionary money—are time and patience.
Time ... not Timing
It's time—not timing—that we feel is the key to reaching your investment goals. We offer a large selection of mutual fund families, each bringing its own specialties to the table. Most of the companies we work with have been in the industry for 50+ years and have very knowledgeable, professional teams of money managers on board.
Mutual funds, stocks and bonds
A mutual fund is company that allows a group of investors to pool their money together with a predetermined investment objective. Each mutual fund has at least one fund manager responsible for investing the pooled money into specific securities, usually stocks and bonds. When you invest in a mutual fund, you're buying shares of the fund and therefore become a shareholder of the fund.
Mutual funds are one of the most cost-efficient and easiest investment tools to utilize. Many of the funds we work with have performance histories dating back more than 10 years, allowing you to see how each fund has performed under various life events.
Asset Allocation
Asset allocation is a critical strategy we frequently employ in which the objective is to achieve the highest return with the least risk involved. We help you determine the appropriate asset mix based on a needs and risk profile, thereby allowing each individual to invest according to his or her own understanding and risk tolerance.
Types of Mutual Funds:
- Money Market Funds
- Growth Fund
- Income Fund
- International Fund
- Global Fund
- Specialty Fund
These are the primary categories of mutual funds in the industry, but there are many variations of each.
